Ok, so here are the pictures/thumbnails of the documents from the final review of the Donnelly Park project. The first pic is of the 1:10 scale model looking towards the north.

Here are the diagrams of the design.  A is the context diagram showing the site’s relationship to the canal, levees, and water level (the site is 9 ft below the water level).  B  is the program diagram, C is for Circulation, and D shows the section lines.

Below are the Plan and three sections for the design.  The basic idea for the design is the concept of intersection of the landform (the hill) and the built construct (the wood decking).  In addition the larger deck slopes up to 9 ft tall to form a personal reflective space that is at the height of the current water level of the canals/lake, and also at the elevation of the floodwaters of Hurricane Katrina.  The sections correspond to the section cut diagram above.

The perspectives try and show how the built park would look and feel to the users.   1 is the view from the primary entrance in the south east corner of the park. 2 is the view facing towards the primary entrance, the small deck and pond, with the larger hill and the 9 ft sloped decking in the background (the water in the perspective definitely needs to be tweaked, or overhauled so that it doesn’t look like a blue cupcake).  Perspective 3 is the view from the north to mid area of the park, looking back toward the larger sloping deck.
